I’ve been in New Zealand for a few weeks now, and it’s been a bit of a journey. Coming into this camp, I thought my knee would be feeling 100% but it’s taken more time, confidence, and repetition than I expected. The first couple of weeks were tough mentally, but I’m finally starting to feel like myself again on skis. This last week especially has been a huge boost. My knee feels strong, tricks are coming back, and I’m just having so much fun skiing again.
All the work I put in at the gym this off-season is really showing too. I feel way more powerful and stable, and I’m excited to keep building on that.
Looking ahead, I’ve got some exciting things lined up. After NZ I’ll head home for a short break, then it’s straight into training and a couple World Cups plus some big goals I’m working hard towards this season.
Feeling grateful, fired up, and ready for what’s next 🙂
